With all the kicking little man is doing we know first things first....he needs shoes! Daddy found the cutest crib shoes at Nordstrom's that I just absolutely adore. Well we ended up coming home with three pairs :) they're just so cute and we know we'll be needing them!

  • Any movement: a whole bunch, all the time
  • Cravings: oh my gosh, cheese!
  • Gender: BOY!!
  • Belly button in or out: I think it ducked back in for the time being

  • Looking forward to: maternity shopping next week!

My Growing Belly

Look at it go! I can hardly believe that I'm growing so much now. It literally went from a little pudge to now everyday my belly gets noticeably bigger. And heavy! Everything in my uterus is gaining weight constantly which makes me gain weight constantly! Luckily it's still all belly although its frustrating not being able to fit into my old clothes without looking like I gained a bazillion pounds. As long as baby's happy, mommy's happy :)

15 Weeks

This Week

Baby can sense light! And he doesn't like it one bit. If I shine a flashlight on my belly he squirms as far away from it as he can. Don't worry I've only tried it twice and my uterus wall is thick so he won't go blind or anything; He clearly just has a preference for darkness. I've noticed that he is quite particular about his environment; for example riding in the car makes him go nuts and I'm assuming it's the position I have to sit in plus the seatbelt that he doesn't really like or if it just wakes him. Picky guy already! Oh yes, and we had another ultrasound this week to check on sex parts and it is still a bouncing babyboy =)

Baby G

(he's 4.5 inches crown to rump!)
  • Weight gain: 1 lb this week, totaling at 5 lbs so far
  • Best moment of the week: seeing our babe of course
  • Any movement: notably in the car, when I lay down and when he hears daddy's voice!
  • Cravings: not so much, but babyboy is going through a growth spurt or something because I eat constantly!
  • Gender: BOY!!
  • Belly button in or out: it has acquired that fake look
  • Happy or moody mostly: happy!
  • Looking forward to: Seeing how much Miles has grown next month!

My Growing Belly

Sorry for the picture in the closet, but i had forgotten to take a belly pic this week until the very last minute and that's where I was when I remembered (with hubby at work). Baby is going through a growth spurt and so is my belly! It's kind of crazy that it grows so fast. I went from my first stranger asking about my belly to everyone now confidently commenting on my belly. My hubby always tells me that it's so much cuter when I do things becuase I'm little (go figure), but this seems to be proving true with being pregnant. People think its so cute that I have a belly that's so little on my little body haha. I just feel a whole lot of chubby in places I've never been chubby before! Which is everywhere!

14 weeks

This Week

I felt our bouncing baby boy kick for the first time this week. It caught me completely off guard while I was washing the dishes. Daddy was at work so I got the moment to myself, but I met him for dinner so I could share the exciting news. It was such an incredible feeling unlike anything I have ever felt before. I would compare it to a big bubble popping really low in my tummy. So exciting and surreal!

Baby G

  • Weight gain: 1 lb this week, totaling at 4 lbs so far
  • Best moment of the week: feeling baby's first power kick
  • Any movement: one kick I noticed this week
  • Cravings: nothing too out of the norm this week
  • Gender: BOY!!
  • Belly button in or out: it's getting rather shallow...
  • Happy or moody mostly: meh, I've been pretty snappy this week
  • Looking forward to: Fridays ultrasound

My Growing Belly

It just keeps on growing, but it just shows how much baby is growing. I had to get a belly support band because my round ligament pain would put me in bed all day due to the pain. I was beginning to really worry about how I would survive my job until December and then how I would be able to even stand for the remaining two months, but luckily my BFF is a mommy and is the best preggo support ever to help me through these nine months. Oh! And the first stranger commented on my "cute bump"! Aw, I am proud to sport my bump!

13 Weeks

This Week

We got to go see our growing, growing baby again this week since the video upload didn't work last week and it was amazing! Baby had grown soo much in just a short week. It's still amazing to me, but nine months from two cells to a little person is a really big growth spurt.  Baby was photogenic as always and that little personality is already showing! We are going to have our hands full. And a bouncer is now a definite must to add to the registry. Baby thinks my womb is a bounce house. I beg to differ. Especially seeing that I will be feeling all these crazy acrobats in a short time to come! Next week we get to go back and see if this jumper is a boy or a girl and we are sooooooo excited to know!!

Baby G

  • weight gain: .5 lb this week, making a total of 3 lbs so far
  • best moment of the week: getting to see baby for the third time and see all the growth and development going on
  • any movement: oh yes! Surprising I can't feel any yet
  • cravings: meat and dairy and sour
  • gender: find out next week
  • belly button in or out: it's looking weird
  • happy or moody mostly: happy!
  • looking forward to: next week's ultrasound

My Growing Belly

(Sorry no picture this week)

Well to match baby's growth, my belly has to constantly grow as well. And is it ever. It's really interesting every morning to wake up, roll out of bed and wonder how big my belly will have grown in the past 10 hours. Some mornings my belly gives the illusion of being a little smaller, but by the time I leave the house it's a whole different story. I am in all maternity wear, but as reluctant as I was to start wearing them they are soo unbelievably comfortable and support my belly so nicely. Plus it's a perk that I get to wear them for the next five months so they won't be getting boxed up having only been worn a few times. I am really curious to see how big I will be by then. At the rate I'm growing, my belly will tip me over!
