23 Weeks

This Week

The move is finally over! We made it through and thank goodness. And then I immediately got the cold that everyone has been getting, except ten times worse since I have no immune system to fight off the yucky bacteria. One thing after the next I tell ya! No matter how ran down I felt from being sick, I could take comfort in Miles being just fine because his activity level stayed just the same. I really wonder what he's doing in there that keeps him just super active...

Baby G

  • Best moment of the week: Getting to sleep back in my well made bed!
  • Any movement: They say you can tell by now if your baby will be a night owl or an early bird, so for us I guess we should prepare for an all day and all night babe
  • Cravings: I have honestly been eating everything which my doctor isn't too thrilled about
  • Labor signs: occasional braxton hicks
  • Happy or moody mostly: getting emotional now that the holiday season is beginning
  • Looking forward to: my third trimester and month seven coming up in two weeks!

My Growing Belly

This week was Halloween and I glittered a baby pumpkin for baby Miles! I thought for sure finding a cute costume would be near impossible since all the costumes for women are all super sexy and tiny and clearly not meant for a big belly, but lucky for us not all of the junior sizes have been converted to sexy level yet! And just like that, with a loose fitting pirate costume I got to dress up with my belly AND be comfortable! What a great day it turned out to be =) And next Halloween I won't have a belly to dress up anymore, but instead a cute little baby Miles to dress up and take trick or treating <3333

21 AAAAND 22 weeks

This Week(s)

These past couple weeks we have been doing A LOT of packing and A LOT of moving. Things have been extremely busy, extremely hot, and extremely exhausting. However Miles seems to enjoy all the moving around since that is his absolute favorite thing to do. All day. Every day. Miles is running miles in my tummy!!

Baby G

  • Best moment of the week(s): Getting to take a break from moving, sip down and pumpkin smash and sit back while Miles does flips!
  • Any movement: for some reason he is getting into a state of hyper activity
  • Cravings: pumpkin smash from jamba juice!
  • Labor signs: definitely not
  • Happy or moody mostly: to exhausted this week to be either
  • Looking forward to: Halloween!

My Growing Belly

Just to show how big our little man is getting....look at my belly! and this is with three and a half more months to go! Everyone talks to my belly, rubs my belly and there are a lot of starers. Miles is already getting so much attention =)

20 Weeks

This Week

Baby Miles is the ripe size of a banana!! A whopping 10.5 inches from head to toe. (From now on baby Miles has made the transition from being measured crown to rump to being measured from head to toe!) He grows so quickly I can hardly keep up.

Baby G

  • Best moment of the week: really being able to bond with Miles
  • Any movement: he's definitely on a noticeable sleep pattern
  • Cravings: crepes!
  • Labor signs: occasional Braxton hicks
  • Belly button in or out: definitely out
  • Happy or moody mostly: happy more so
  • Looking forward to: the count down to meeting Miles

My Growing Belly

No picture this week. We are really busy trying to pack everything up and move which is a super daunting task while pregnant and I do NOT recommend it :). Luckily we have loads of help so I think it will be manageable. That being said, my belly is finally at a lull I think and despite people commenting on how I seem bigger everyday (which is usually true) this week I have stayed relatively the same. Now Miles is just putting on his fat layers which means my weight is going up much faster. Ah. And next week he has another growth spurt, whatever that means because really? Pregnancy is just one really super charged growth spurt for the babe and the momma. Til' next week!! <3333
